Video Editing
Video editing is inseparable from photography for me. What I photograph, I video, raw is a beautiful thing on Facebook, but it's not enough on its own. You need a concept that fits the materials, you need a story that gives meaning to the pictures. The best thing about editing is that you write, shape, and tell this story.
Video Projects
Generally, I edit my photo projects, so I mainly edit videos of school and scout programs.
My goal is to give every program/event a story, a frame, something that makes it worth watching.
This is a lot of work because sometimes it is very difficult to convey the atmosphere of a program,
especially if only the performace recording is available…
The Gear
For editing, I use a 2022 Mac mini with an M2 chip. I use DaVinci Resolve because, besides being free,
it provides a lot of opportunities to realize my ideas and has years of experience in it.
