Scouting is a global youth movement that aims to build a society of lively, committed, responsible, healthy citizens, who grow towards God through their continuous self-education. Scouting is a lifelong adventure in which we work for a better world.
Me as a Scout
I’ve joined the 1104 II. János Pál Scout Group in September 2017, where I’ve been actively involved ever since.
For me, this is a place worth returning to from the noise of the world, to always get something valuable.
Over the years, I have learned a lot from this and here I really fell in love with hiking and the lifestyle that comes with it.
The camps, the patrols, the trials are all defining experiences for me, as this is so different from everyday life.

The team
The 1104 II. János Pál Scout Group was founded in Biatorbágy in 2015.
We are not a very large team (about 30-40 people), but I really enjoy that everyone knows everyone.
As an Explorer, I can finally serve at the team level, especially watching the life of the team with a media eye.

Electric exam
Our team’s goal for this year (2024-2025) is for everyone in the Explorer age group to do a badge.
Badges are exams where the Scout has to deepen his theoretical and practical knowledge in a given topic,
and then give an account of the acquired knowledge. I chose the electrician badge, which means I have to work with electricity.
Until the summer camp, I have to make two videos, in which I talk about the theory of electricity and show some practical tasks;
for example, reading the electricity meter. The final task will be to make a camp lamp…
